Job Purpose:
The Brand Marketing Manager is accountable for the commercial performance of an assigned brand across all its outlets in Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The role develops and executes the annual brand marketing plan, manages the brand marketing budget, and directs the work of the department's shared functions (Content Studio, Digital & CRM, VIP, PR & Creators and KSA Marketing) through structured briefs, in order to deliver growth in covers, like-for-like sales and guest frequency while protecting the distinct positioning of the brand
Key Accountabilities:
1- Brand strategy and planning:
• Develop the annual brand marketing plan, aligned to the department's objectives and the brand's revenue targets, for approval by the Chief Executive Officer.
• Maintain a rolling quarterly marketing calendar covering campaigns, promotions, seasonal periods, menu launches and events, submitted no less than 30 days in advance.
• Safeguard the brand's positioning, tone and guest promise across all outlets and channels, in coordination with the Creative Director.
2- Commercial performance:
• Monitor covers, average spend and like-for-like sales by outlet on a weekly basis in conjunction with the Marketing Analyst, and initiate corrective action where performance deviates from plan.
• Identify and develop revenue opportunities by daypart, outlet and guest segment. Own the marketing plan for the launch of new outlets within the brand, in coordination with the KSA Marketing Executive for the Riyadh market.
3- Budget management:
• Manage the brand's allocated marketing budget across paid media, creators, content production and activations, and maintain marketing expenditure within the approved percentage of brand revenue.
• Report actual expenditure against budget monthly and propose reallocations at quarterly planning.
4- Campaign management:
• Define the objective, target audience, offer, budget and success measures for each campaign, and issue written briefs to the relevant shared functions.
• Review and approve the brand's monthly social media calendar prepared by Digital & CRM.
• Evaluate the return of each campaign within seven days of its close and apply the findings to subsequent activity.
5- Partnerships and promotions:
• Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships, corporate and hospitality tie-ins and delivery-platform promotions that generate incremental covers.
• Ensure all promotional mechanics are consistent with the Group's no-discount principle and coordinate member-related activity with the VIP Manager.
6- Operational partnership:
• Act as the single marketing point of contact for the brand's outlet management, conducting regular outlet visits and briefing outlet teams on upcoming activity.
• Present brand performance, expenditure and forward plans at the weekly marketing meeting and the monthly marketing review.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years of progressive marketing experience, including at least two years with direct accountability for the commercial results of a brand, outlet or business unit, preferably in food and beverage, hospitality or premium retail.
- Demonstrated record of planning and delivering campaigns with measurable commercial outcomes.
- Experience briefing and directing creative, digital and public relations teams or agencies.
- Experience of the Qatar market; knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market is an advantage.
