Associate Manager - Risk & Compliance

JOB TITLE
Manager - Security | MAF Retail | Hypermarket Kuwait

ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager – Security is responsible for assisting the Risk and Compliance Manager in examining the business to determine the adequacy and sustainability of its operations. The role holder is also responsible for assisting in the development of internal policies and procedures to reduce risk exposure.

ROLE PROFILE

• Assist in developing and implementing risk and compliance initiatives across the business.
• Analyze retail data and support the preparation of action plans to mitigate risks and losses.
• Monitor and manage the integrity hotline to ensure proper reporting of compliance concerns.
• Participate in investigations related to fraud, theft, ethics breaches, corruption, and policy violations.
• Identify potential business risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.
• Assist in updating and communicating risk and compliance policies and procedures.
• Prepare risk and compliance reports, maintain databases, and support system management activities.
• Deliver compliance awareness training and support employee development initiatives related to risk and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, or a similar function.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and interpret data.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and investigation processes.
