Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Vendor Coordinator as part of our Engineering team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be initially office based then move to onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Role
The EPCM Vendor Coordinator (Site) is responsible for coordinating and managing vendor activitiesat the project site to ensure timely delivery, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and close-out of vendor-supplied equipment and materials. The role serves as the primaryinterface between the EPCM team, contractors, vendors, and the client to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Requirements
- •Experience in Vendor Coordination within an Engineering team
- •Experience in Oil, Gas, or New Energies business
- •Ability to manage vendor activities at project sites
- •Ability to coordinate delivery, installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning
- •Strong communication skills to serve as primary interface between EPCM team, contractors, vendors, and clients
- •Knowledge of project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
Responsibilities

- •Manage inspection, testing, commissioning, and close-out processes
- •Act as the primary interface between the EPCM team, contractors, vendors, and the client
