Summary
KAYALI is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to build digital content for the e-commerce business. This is an opportunity for the right individual to develop a wide range of skills and gain experience working for a fast-growing online business with considerable creative freedom and strong ambitions. This role will report into the E-commerce Director and work closely with the E-commerce and Marketing Teams.
KPIs: Brand website conversion rate, user engagement (time spent, bounce rate), emails open/click rates, paid media campaigns performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Design:
⢠Design and develop a visually captivating and responsive e-commerce website that aligns with the brandās identity.
⢠Ensure the website design reflects the uniqueness, sophistication, and exclusivity of the brand.
⢠Optimize the website for a seamless user experience across all devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).User Experience (UX) and Interface (UI) Design:
⢠Develop intuitive navigation and interface designs that enhance user engagement and drive conversions.
⢠Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
⢠Ensure the website is user-friendly, focusing on ease of navigation and a streamlined checkout process.Branding across Website, e-mailings and media campaigns:
⢠Maintain and enhance the brandās visual identity across digital platforms and communication tools such as the brand website, the e-mailings/newsletters, and assets for paid media campaigns.
⢠Create and implement design elements that convey the brandās heritage and message.
⢠Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all online touchpoints.Content Creation and Management:
⢠Work with content creators to integrate high-quality images, videos, and graphics that showcase the quality of the products and offers.
⢠Assist the e-commerce team to regularly update the website and digital campaigns with content for new products & promotions, following the website animation plan.Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
⢠Monitor website performance, including load times, responsiveness, and overall user engagement.
⢠Use analytics tools to track customer behaviour and optimize the website for higher conversion rates.
⢠Implement A/B testing to refine design elements and improve user experience.Collaboration and Project Management:
⢠Collaborate with the e-commerce product manager and the tech teams/agencies to implement design concepts and ensure functionality.
⢠Work closely with the marketing team to support digital campaigns and promotions and ensure brand consistency.
⢠Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all web design tasks.Requirements
⢠Bachelorās degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
⢠Proven experience in web design, preferably within the beauty or fragrance industry.
⢠Strong portfolio showcasing high-end web design projects.
⢠Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
⢠Understanding of front-end development and responsive design principles.
⢠Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
⢠Good understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
⢠Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
⢠Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
