Leading hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon with strong expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex oral, dental, and maxillofacial conditions. The role involves managing a broad range of surgical and dental cases, providing comprehensive patient care, and working closely with multidisciplinary medical and dental teams. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality clinical services, patient safety, and the continued development of advanced oral and dental surgical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex oral, dental, and surgical conditions.
• Perform a range of oral and dental surgical procedures based on clinical expertise.
• Manage complex tooth extractions, impacted teeth, oral infections, cysts, and other surgical conditions.
• Perform minor and advanced oral surgical procedures where appropriately trained.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up.
• Work closely with dentists, orthodontists, periodontists, prosthodontists, ENT specialists, and other medical professionals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic investigations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and clinical governance standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, clinical audits, teaching, and professional development.
• Support the development and delivery of advanced oral and dental surgical services.

• Medical/Dental degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, or a relevant specialty.
• American Board, UK CCT/CCST, or equivalent recognized Western qualification.
• Western-qualified candidate with established Specialist/Consultant-level clinical experience.
• Strong experience in oral and dental surgical procedures and management of complex cases.
• Experience in a leading hospital, tertiary care, or advanced dental/maxillofacial setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, surgical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
