Administer warehouse and ground operations processes to provide smooth operations for movement, storage and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools and packaging in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.

In this Shift In Charge - AFR Handling position

• Under general/ limited supervision manage, execute and support delivery of warehouse/distribution center and ground operations processes and activities related to movement, storage and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools (e.g.
• Provide timely and effective administrative support to conduct activities such as receive, handle (e.g. move, stack, stage, load or unload), store, record and dispatch materials, finished goods, and tools
• Operate warehouse/distribution center and ground operations equipment (e.g. gas or electric powered forklift truck, scanner, etc.)to process all incoming and outgoing shipments and handle/store materials, finished goods, tools
• Ensure warehouse/distribution center and ground operations equipment (e.g. gas or electric powered forklift truck, scanner, etc.)is properly checked, used and maintained on a daily basis
• Receive items and inspect the condition for damage/defects, verify them against the record of shipment
• Accurately sort the received items, label and store goods ensuring optimization of warehouse space
• Perform order fulfilment based on customer requirements, gather, verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method
• Consolidate shipments and manage transshipment and sorting activities (e.g. within sorting centers)
• Ensure proper routing of materials is maintained while transporting the materials between departments
• Arrange daily pick-up schedules and dispatch pick-up delivery information in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain and log the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products, update received and shipped items according to established procedures and maintain information into database or computerized system to keep up-to-date stock records
• Retrieve stored information, place orders or respond to enquiries such as inventory levels or delivery schedules
• Resolve recurring issues faced during delivery as per defined processes, systems and methods
• Resolve issues related to error messages during scanning/ loading process and shipment/ package exceptions, and report back to team
• Respond to requests from customer service and sales for shipment tracking and resolve issues related to misplaced shipments
• Verify applicable documentation during package/ freight pick-up or arrival at warehouse
• Provide support for shipment processing and documentation, sending status information and accepting/ securing over-the-counter payments
• Stay updated with the methods of use of all equipment and obtain related certifications
• Follow and achieve compliance with established procedures and ensure proper usage of operations processes and policies
• Support team members with less experience in different/ difficult situations Stakeholders
