We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Specialist Neurosurgeon to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, surgical management, and ongoing care of patients with disorders of the brain, spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical and surgical expertise, sound decision-making, excellent patient communication, and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care..

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological and neurosurgical consultations and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurosurgical conditions affecting the brain, spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
• Review and interpret MRI, CT, angiography, and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
• Develop individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
• Perform neurosurgical procedures within the physician's licensed scope, clinical competency, and hospital privileges.
• Manage elective and emergency neurosurgical cases as required.
• Provide pre-operative evaluation, surgical counseling, informed consent, and risk assessment.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patients for complications and recovery.
• Manage patients with traumatic, degenerative, vascular, oncological, congenital, and other neurosurgical conditions.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neuroradiologists, oncologists, orthopedic/spine surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide appropriate patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, expected outcomes, and recovery.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential medical records, including consultation notes, operative reports, and follow-up documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
• Follow DHA regulations, hospital policies, infection-control standards, patient-safety requirements, and applicable professional guidelines.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery or an equivalent specialty qualification.
• Relevant specialist clinical and surgical experience.
• Valid DHA Specialist license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain a professional license in Dubai.
• Meets the applicable UAE Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR) for the Specialist title.
• Current professional registration and relevant Good Standing documentation, where applicable.
• Appropriate surgical credentials and hospital privileges for the procedures performed.
