We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Specialist ENT (Otolaryngologist) to join our healthcare team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of disorders involving the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations, clinical examinations, and medical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of adult and pediatric ENT conditions.
• Evaluate patients with hearing loss, ear infections, tinnitus, vertigo, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, nasal obstruction, tonsillitis, throat disorders, and voice problems.
• Perform appropriate ENT examinations and diagnostic procedures within the physician's licensed scope and clinical competency.
• Review and interpret relevant investigations, including audiometry, tympanometry, imaging, laboratory tests, and endoscopic findings.
• Develop individualized medical and surgical treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform ENT surgical procedures within the physician's approved scope, competency, and facility privileges.
• Provide pre-operative assessment, patient counseling, informed consent, and post-operative follow-up.
• Manage acute and chronic ENT conditions and identify cases requiring urgent intervention.
• Provide appropriate treatment and follow-up for patients with head and neck disorders.
• Coordinate care with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, neurologists, pediatricians, allergists, dentists, and other specialists when required.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medication, preventive care, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential medical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE healthcare regulations, facility policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT or an equivalent specialty qualification.
• Relevant specialist clinical experience.
• Valid MOHAP Specialist license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain the appropriate professional license for practice in Sharjah.
• Meets the applicable UAE Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR) for the Specialist title.
• Current professional registration and relevant Good Standing documentation, where applicable.
