About the Company
We are the largest oil producer within the ADNOC Group, accounting for over half of ADNOC’s total oil production. As the country’s oldest oil production company, our operations date back to 1939, when a 75-year concession was signed to explore for oil and gas in Abu Dhabi. As a global industry leader in environmental sustainability, we are the first in the world to capture carbon from the iron and steel industry. Our Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) facility at Al Reyadah has the capacity to capture 800,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) from Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) each year, for use in the Bab and Rumaitha oil fields to support Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). Al Reyadah is, therefore, a critical enabler of ADNOC’s 2030 sustainability goals.
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide expert engineering technical support all electrical maintenance activities in the Plant & Power network and to ensure equipment availability, reliability and integrity in line With best world class practises and standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop and maintain Electrical Maintenance codes Of practices. procedures and guidelines in compliance with corporate and ADNOC polices and standards,
- Review the existing maintenance practices and support the implementation of innovative & modern techniques in order to achieve the best productivity, availability & reliability,
- Plan and supervise the execution of major overhauls and extraordinary maintenance programs in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Coordinate & liaise for long- and short-term maintenance plans, major verhauls and shutdowns of the assigned equipment.
- Support, advice and resolve any critical breakdowns of Electrical Equipment Within the assigned filed/Area,
- Propose/Review any plant change request by conducting site engineering studies to ensure the feasibility and safety of the plant.
- Provide professional expertise in technological up-gradation of obsolete equipment and prepare the relevant technical and economical document.
- Provide expert advice for all maintenance and operations issues related to electrical equipment and power network
- Investigate/Analyse chronic maintenance problems and identify the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and advice the corrective action.
- Ensure that all electrical critical safety systems are maintained and operative by developing adequate testing procedures and follow up testing programs,QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
6 years of experience, Engineering and Maintenance preferably in Oil & Gas.
