Job Overview
The R&M Technician III – Liner Hanger is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, testing, and refurbishment of Liner Hanger systems and associated downhole tools. The role ensures all equipment is serviced, assembled, and certified in accordance with OEM specifications, company procedures, and customer requirements. This position supports workshop and field operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. Senior technicians may provide technical expertise, troubleshoot complex tool failures, and support operational efficiency initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, maintain, and pressure test Liner Hanger systems and related equipment.
- Disassemble, clean, assemble, and refurbish Liner Hanger tools according to OEM procedures.
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
- Conduct dimensional inspections, function testing, and quality checks to ensure equipment readiness.
- Complete maintenance records, work orders, and inspection documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and operational standards.
- Safely operate workshop machinery, lifting equipment, and testing equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when required.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical or related discipline.
- 4–6 years of experience in Liner Hanger equipment repair and maintenance within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic and mechanical Liner Hanger systems, running tools, packers, and related downhole equipment.
- Knowledge of pressure testing, dimensional inspection, and equipment certification processes.
- Forklift, crane, or lifting equipment certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a workshop and field support environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
