The Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Recruiting Coordinator / Sourcing Specialist to support active searches by owning the front end of sourcing, coordination, and internal operations support. This person will help expand our capacity to identify strong candidates while preserving the high standard and personal touch Pax strives for.

This is not a full-cycle recruiter role. You’ll work closely with the founder and focus on sourcing, research, candidate coordination, and building strong internal systems.

What You’ll Own

Source and research candidates for open roles (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other job platforms, plus creative sourcing methods) Build thoughtful longlists of high-quality, relevant candidate profiles Draft and assemble clean, client-ready candidate profiles and summaries Support outbound outreach campaigns (sending messages, follow-ups, tracking responses) Own candidate logistics: scheduling interviews, coordinating availability, managing communication flow Maintain organized pipelines and candidate records (statuses, notes, next steps) Help build and improve internal systems, documentation, templates, and workflows as Pax grows Flag strong candidates for deeper review Keep searches moving forward with consistency, follow-through, and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent research (agency or in-house is great) Strong written English and professional communication skills Comfortable using LinkedIn Recruiter and willing to learn / use other job platforms like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and similar tools Highly organized with strong follow-through Good judgment—you understand what strong talent looks like and don’t just spray and pray Comfortable helping shape what the role looks like over time, iterating on process, and building structure as we go Who You Are You’re a self-starter who takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to do You’re detail-oriented and take pride in producing clean, high-quality work You’re comfortable building the plane while flying it—helping shape what this role looks like over time You’re naturally organized and enjoy creating structure where there isn’t much yet You follow through—if you say you’ll do something, it gets done You’re steady under pressure and can roll with shifting priorities You care about doing recruiting well and want to help build strong organizations and careers You enjoy being part of a small, high-trust team and helping build something that lasts What Success Looks Like You consistently surface strong, relevant candidate pipelines—not just volume, but people who actually fit the role and the client. Candidate profiles sent to clients are clean, thoughtful, and well-organized Searches move faster and feel more controlled Internal systems, documentation, and workflows become cleaner and more useful over time because you’re constantly tightening them. The organization has more capacity to grow because the engine behind the scenes is running well. Pax’s quality and experience improve as capacity grows.

Why This Role Matters This is an early, foundational hire at Pax. You’ll help build the engine behind the scenes—sourcing talent, organizing searches, and creating the systems that allow a boutique firm to scale without losing quality. You’ll work closely with the founder and have real influence on how Pax operates day to day.
