The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, excellent food preparation skills, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of hygiene, organization, and discretion in a private household environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare fresh, high-quality meals according to the household’s preferences and dietary requirements.
- Prepare a variety of cuisines, including international and healthy dishes.
- Plan menus and manage grocery shopping, ingredient sourcing, and kitchen inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen at all times.
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and preparation in accordance with food safety standards.
- Accommodate special dietary requirements, allergies, and individual food preferences.
- Manage kitchen supplies and minimize food waste.
- Prepare meals according to the household’s daily schedule and requirements.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a private chef, household chef, or professional chef.
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various cuisines.
- Ability to prepare nutritious, well-presented, and high-quality meals.
- Good understanding of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and food storage.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing kitchen operations independently.
- Flexible, reliable, and attentive to the household’s needs.
- Professional attitude, good communication skills, and a neat appearance.
- Ability to work in a private household and respect the family’s privacy.
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be based in Ras Al Khaimah or willing to relocate or commute as required.
- Previous experience working in a private household is highly preferred.
