Overview Of The Role:

• The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting, marketing, and selling Volvo construction equipment products within the designated territory of Dubai and the North Emirates. The role requires managing the complete sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving budgeted targets. The Sales Engineer must build strong client relationships, secure new business, and stay informed about industry developments. Success in this role is defined by the ability to meet sales targets, engage customers effectively, and expand the client base.
What You Will Do:

Sales Management

• Contribute to the achievement of revenue, unit sales, and customer engagement through effective sales process management.
• Seek out and target new customers and sales opportunities, initiating action plans to secure new business.
• Manage customer requirements for on-time delivery, considering lead-times and product specification changes.
• Provide timely quotations to clients and ensure order delivery with minimal receivable levels.

Relationship Building

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key contacts to drive repeat and improved business levels.
• Cultivate new clients to the Famco client database while retaining current client base and growing existing relationships.

Industry Knowledge and Compliance

• Remain abreast of the latest regulations, industry standards, and good working practices.
• Ensure compliance with Famco systems and show a knowledgeable understanding with reports and clients alike.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Sales process management with a focus on achieving revenue and growth targets.
• Strong client relationship management and networking capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of power products and construction equipment industry standards.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving sales goals.
What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales role within the UAE.
• Experience with distributor and dealer sales, with a focus on customer engagement and territory management.
• Proficiency in English is essential, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
