Event Scenic Production Manager

Dates: ASAP start until 15th December 2026 (project dates)
Project location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (UAE based candidates preferred)

Note: This is a contract role, not full time.

THA by Armonia is recruiting an experienced Scenic Production Manager for a Conference/Exhibition in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Production Director, you will own the stand build from approved design through to fabrication, installation, handover and dismantling. You will make sure the build is delivered safely, on time, to the agreed quality and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the stand build through every stage: approved design, fabrication, installation, handover and dismantling.
• Review drawings, BOQs, materials and mock-ups for buildability and quality.
• Coordinate the scenic contractor, including programme, procurement, cost changes and logistics.
• Oversee HSE compliance and secure all venue approvals.
• Manage interfaces with branding, AVL, furniture and other third-party suppliers.

• Proven experience as a Scenic or Event/Exhibition Production Manager on large-scale exhibition stands, pavilions or major events.
• Strong technical understanding of scenic fabrication, materials and construction drawings.
• Experience managing contractors, programmes and cost changes.
• Sound knowledge of HSE requirements; experience with Abu Dhabi major venues or similar UAE venue approvals is highly desirable.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills under tight deadlines.
• Available for the full build, live and dismantle period in Abu Dhabi.
