Job Description

We're looking for an accomplished and visionary Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing operations in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive revenue growth, develop comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, and build high-performing teams that deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, fostering innovation while maintaining a strong customer focus across all initiatives and market segments.

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market opportunities in the Saudi Arabian region, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
• Lead, mentor, and manage sales and marketing teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, continuous improvement, and collaborative success
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making with data-driven recommendations
• Oversee budget management and P&L responsibility, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, accurate forecasting, and maximizing return on investment across all initiatives
• Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns utilizing digital channels, traditional media, and innovative approaches to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and market penetration
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales and marketing effectiveness, providing regular performance reviews, transparent reporting, and strategic recommendations for optimization
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to support business development, market expansion, and long-term partnership growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing initiatives and organizational alignment
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market developments to maintain competitive advantage and drive organizational innovation
• Customize sales and marketing programs to address the unique needs, preferences, and cultural nuances of the local Madinah and broader Saudi Arabian market
• Manage vendor relationships and marketing partnerships to optimize service delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Develop and implement change management strategies to support organizational growth and market adaptation initiatives

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the Holy City market, along with a minimum of 8+ years of progressive sales and marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role demonstrating consistent career advancement.
• Must have a valid and transferable visa (Iqama)
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and measurable business results
• Strong expertise in digital marketing, marketing automation tools, and CRM platforms with demonstrated proficiency in leveraging technology for business advantage
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while fostering collaborative and inclusive team cultures
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, market research, business intelligence tools, and translating insights into actionable strategies
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels effectively
• Strategic thinking and business acumen with strong financial management capabilities, including budget forecasting, P&L management, and resource optimization
• Extensive experience in business development and identifying new market opportunities with a track record of successful market entry and expansion
• Proficiency in customizing marketing programs and sales approaches for diverse customer segments and market conditions
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and complex initiatives simultaneously
• Experience in vendor and partner relationship management to optimize service delivery and organizational partnerships
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while fostering collaborative team environments and cross-functional partnerships
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and maintain focus on strategic objectives
• Fluency in Arabic (preferred) with strong understanding of Saudi Arabian business culture, market dynamics, and local consumer behavior
• Experience working in the Middle Eastern market or with international organizations (preferred)
• Experience with change management and organizational transformation initiatives (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (preferred)
