Dietitian / Nutritionist - Specialist / Consultant | UAE Healthcare Jobs

We are seeking an experienced Dietitian / Nutritionist – Specialist / Consultant to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based nutritional assessment, counseling, and personalized dietary care to patients across different clinical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments based on patients' medical history, clinical condition, lifestyle, and dietary needs.
• Develop individualized nutrition and dietary plans based on patient requirements.
• Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and their families.
• Support the management of conditions such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and other nutrition-related conditions.
• Monitor patients' nutritional progress and adjust dietary plans as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide dietary guidance for patients with specific medical and therapeutic nutritional requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on healthy eating, lifestyle modification, and long-term nutrition management.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, health education programs, and professional development activities.
• Stay updated with current nutrition guidelines, evidence-based practices, and developments in dietetics.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professional practice.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Recognized professional qualification in Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition / Nutrition.
• Relevant clinical experience as a Specialist / Consultant Dietitian or Nutritionist.
• Strong experience in nutritional assessment, dietary planning, and clinical nutrition management.
• Experience managing patients with diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and other nutrition-related conditions.
• Knowledge of evidence-based nutrition practices and therapeutic dietary interventions.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong patient education and dietary counseling abilities.
