Job Summary

Private Healthcare Sector in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Otolaryngologist with strong expertise in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions. The role offers exposure to complex ENT cases, advanced surgical procedures, and multidisciplinary collaboration with specialists across the hospital. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive patient care while contributing to clinical excellence, patient safety, and the continued development of ENT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of adult and pediatric ENT conditions.
• Perform comprehensive ENT consultations, examinations, and treatment planning.
• Perform appropriate elective and emergency ENT surgical procedures.
• Manage complex conditions involving the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, and head and neck.
• Perform procedures such as endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, ear surgery, and other ENT procedures according to expertise.
• Evaluate and manage patients with hearing, balance, airway, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide appropriate pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
• Work closely with audiology, speech therapy, radiology, oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, and other specialties.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and complex case discussions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety and infection-control standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the development of advanced ENT and head & neck services within the hospital.

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology/ENT.
• American Board, UK CCT/CCST, or equivalent recognized Western qualification.
• Western-qualified candidate with established Consultant-level experience.
• Strong experience in general ENT and management of complex otolaryngology cases.
• Proven experience in ENT surgical procedures within a hospital or tertiary-care setting.
• Subspecialty expertise in areas such as rhinology, otology, head & neck surgery, pediatric ENT, or laryngology is an advantage.
• Strong clinical judgment, surgical skills, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
