ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its women’s health, maternity, gynecological care and operative services and is seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology specialist to join its clinical team.

The role offers an opportunity for an internationally trained specialist to work within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse patient population. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards of patient-centred care.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide consultant-level antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and gynecological care.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies, obstetric emergencies and operative deliveries according to clinical expertise and facility privileges.
• Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, fibroids and menopause-related concerns.
• Perform procedures such as caesarean sections, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and gynecological surgery according to scope of practice.
• Collaborate with neonatology, anaesthesia, radiology, fertility, oncology and midwifery teams to provide coordinated patient care.
• Provide patient-centred counselling, obtain informed consent, maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare standards.

• American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• UK CCT / MRCOG / FRCOG
• European Board or National Specialist Certification
• Royal College Certification, Canada
• Australian FRANZCOG
• Arab Board
• MD / MS / DNB / FCPS or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
