ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading healthcare provider in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join its expanding cardiology services. The role offers an opportunity to work within a modern clinical environment providing comprehensive cardiac care to a diverse patient population.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment and management of patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high standards of patient-centred care.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative cardiology team supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension and arrhythmias.
- Perform and interpret appropriate cardiac investigations, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing and other diagnostic studies according to scope of practice.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans, including medical management and appropriate preventive strategies.
- Manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions and coordinate timely referrals for advanced cardiac interventions when required.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, cardiac imaging specialists and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide counselling and education regarding cardiovascular risk factors, medication, lifestyle modification and long-term disease management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based cardiology protocols.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, patient safety standards and professional requirements.
Applications are welcome from internationally trained Consultant Cardiologists holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:
- American Board of Internal Medicine – Cardiovascular Disease
- UK CCT / MRCP / FRCP with recognised Cardiology training
- European Board or National Specialist Certification in Cardiology
- Royal College Certification, Canada
- Australian FRACP with Cardiology training
- Arab Board
- DM / DNB / FCPS or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
Candidates from the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, India, the Middle East, Africa and South America may be considered, subject to eligibility for UAE medical licensing and the healthcare facility's credentialing requirements.

Requirements
