Consultant General Surgeon (Western qualified, CCT)

Job Summary

Opportunity for an experienced General Surgeon to join a healthcare institution in the UAE. The role involves comprehensive surgical care across elective and emergency cases, with opportunities to work in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage general surgical conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency surgical procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain clinical records and patient safety standards.
• Support teaching, audits, and clinical quality initiatives.

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery.
• UK CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Board, Australian/New Zealand Board, or equivalent preferred.
• Consultant/Specialist-level clinical experience.
• Experience in a hospital or tertiary healthcare setting.
• Eligible for DHA/DOH/MOHAP licensing or willing to complete the licensing process.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
