Job Summary

Leading hospital in the UAE is looking for an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with strong expertise in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. The role offers the opportunity to manage complex cardiac cases, work alongside a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to advanced cardiovascular services. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based care and support the continued development of the hospital’s cardiology services.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive cardiac consultations, assessments, and follow-ups.
• Manage patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and other complex cardiac conditions.
• Perform and interpret relevant cardiac diagnostic investigations according to clinical expertise.
• Provide appropriate medical and preventive treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Manage acute cardiac and emergency cases in collaboration with emergency and critical care teams.
• Work closely with cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and complex case discussions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety and clinical governance standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the development and enhancement of advanced cardiology services and clinical protocols.

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology.
• UK CCT/CCST, or equivalent recognized Western qualification.
• Western-qualified candidate with established Consultant-level experience.
• Strong experience in managing complex cardiovascular and cardiac cases.
• Experience in a leading hospital, tertiary-care, or advanced cardiac center preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment.
• Experience in cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, or interventional cardiology is an advantage, depending on the area of expertise.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
