Main responsibilities
• Develop and implement commercial strategies for the AT1D portfolio aligned with regional and global priorities; manage full P&L responsibility including annual budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to maximize return on investment.
• Define and track performance metrics, identify market opportunities, and translate insights from the competitive landscape and emerging therapies into actionable plans that accelerate growth and increase market share.
• Partner with market access teams to build compelling value propositions and health economic narratives, securing optimal pricing and reimbursement outcomes across Gulf markets.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, payers, and patient organizations; represent Sanofi at external meetings, conferences, and industry events.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, and Marketing to deliver integrated brand strategies and co-lead product launch preparations that differentiate our offerings in the market.
• Provide strategic direction and coaching to the sales organization, developing innovative customer engagement models and championing agile ways of working across the commercial team.
• Ensure all commercial activities are conducted in full compliance with local regulations, industry codes, and company policies, fostering a culture of integrity throughout the organization.
About you
• Experience: Significant experience in progressive commercial leadership roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong track record in specialty care markets; background in diabetes is a plus. Demonstrated experience managing P&L, leading cross-functional teams, and operating effectively in matrix organizations.
• Soft and technical skills: Strong strategic thinking and business acumen; excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; results-oriented with an entrepreneurial and patient-centric mindset; proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across diverse functions and cultures.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
• Languages: Fluent in both English and Arabic.
• Proven people management experience, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Greater Gulf healthcare systems, market dynamics, and regulatory and market access environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% across the Greater Gulf region and periodically to regional and global meetings.

Requirements
- •Significant experience in progressive commercial leadership roles in pharma/healthcare
