Role Overview

As the Azure Infrastructure Senior Manager, you will oversee the planning, development, management, and monitoring of all Azure-based systems and solutions. You will ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy, and Information Security standards.

You will lead Azure operations, guide a dedicated technical team, report on cloud performance and consumption, drive automation and DevOps initiatives, and ensure robust security and compliance across the Azure landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Azure engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Oversee and optimize the organization’s Azure environment, including workloads, DevOps, DevSecOps, SaaS, and Databricks.
• Plan, lead, and deliver Azure infrastructure projects within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Azure-based services.
• Architect, deploy, and operate PaaS and related Azure infrastructure.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, vulnerabilities, and risks across Azure environments.
• Manage configuration and administration of Azure services (Web Apps, App Gateway, APIM, etc.).
• Implement automation using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Monitor system health and define dashboards, logs, and metrics for visibility.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and ensure timely remediation.
• Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on Azure performance, KPIs, incidents, and trends.
• Manage Azure audits and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and technology improvements.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• ITIL certification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Azure Administration.
• Proven experience with Azure infrastructure, ARM, Azure AD, virtual networks, and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, automation tools.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.Desirable

• MBA or Project Management certifications (Agile/Waterfall).
• ISO27001 knowledge.
• 5+ years managing Azure projects.
• Understanding of GDPR, PCI, ISO, UAE security regulations.
