Job Description

Job Summary:

The Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing air conditioning and cooling systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to scheduled plans.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Replace defective components and ensure proper system performance.
• Monitor refrigerant levels and handle refrigerants safely in accordance with regulations.
• Test and calibrate HVAC equipment and controls.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance team members as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
• Previous experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and refrigeration principles.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic communication skills in English.Skills:
