Overview Of The Role:
The role of the Cashier involves managing cash flow, invoicing, and financial controls within a multi-brand showroom and workshop setting. The position supports the Finance Business Partner to ensure precise financial reporting and provides effective business support. The role primarily focuses on managing revenue collection, maintaining accounts receivables, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.

What You Will Do

• Collect and verify all cash, credit card, cheque payments against invoices and post all collections in the system (SAP).

• Monitor petty cash fund to ensure adequate balance and review pending reimbursements/claims for submission.

• Maintain and balance daily collection and petty cash fund twice daily.

• Ensure all collected revenue is deposited in the bank.

• Monitor and communicate cheque clearance, bouncing cheques, and refund cheques.

• Ensure accurate data entry in SAP and minimize billing cancellations and advance payments.

• Adhere strictly to company policy regarding customer refunds and maintain logs for tracking purposes.

• Monitor branch AR report daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure timely collection of all outstanding or overdue invoices.

• Maintain a list of all credit facilities provided to branch credit customers, including credit limit, credit period, main contact details, and credit facility documents.

• Reconcile credit customer accounts.

• Maintain documents for IHF deals.Record unaccounted credit accurately.

• Perform invoicing of parts in a timely manner.

• Ensure strict adherence to all document processes to meet all bank payments accurately.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Proficient in cash management and financial control.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Graduate degree in a relevant field.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in an automotive dealership.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and process-oriented task management.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and work effectively in a team.
