• Define target-state technology and infrastructure architecture and transition roadmaps.

• Develop technology standards, reference architectures, principles, patterns, and approved technology portfolios.

• Design scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available infrastructure architectures.

• Define architecture for on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments.

• Assess infrastructure capacity, utilization, performance, availability, and lifecycle status.

• Identify technology obsolescence, end-of-life risks, technical debt, and modernization opportunities.

• Define architecture requirements for backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, high availability, and fault tolerance.

• Support network architecture including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, data center networking, connectivity, and segmentation.

• Support server, storage, virtualization, container, and platform architecture decisions.

• Collaborate with cloud, security, application, integration, data, and solution architects to ensure coherent end-to-end architecture.

• Support infrastructure platform selection, vendor evaluation, technical assessments, and solution reviews.

• Participate in architecture governance, technical design reviews, and Architecture Review Boards.

• Define infrastructure monitoring, observability, capacity management, and operational architecture requirements.

• Support data center modernization, consolidation, migration, and infrastructure transformation programs.

• Identify infrastructure architecture risks, constraints, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
