About the role

We are looking for a Team Lead - Account Management to drive strong commercial performance and build impactful partnerships with our restaurant partners in the UAE. This role requires exceptional leadership, analytical, and relationship management skills. You will lead a team of account managers, set commercial strategies, and ensure long-term success for both Careem and our restaurant partners.

What you'll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers, driving high performance and motivation.
  • Own and grow key strategic partnerships across the UAE Food vertical, ensuring win-win outcomes.
  • Analyze commercial data to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
  • Set targets and KPIs for the team; monitor, report, and optimize against them.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver best-in-classpartner experiences.
  • Support negotiation of commercial terms and drive execution of initiatives to improvepartner satisfaction.
  • Represent Careem in key meetings with high-value restaurant groups and stakeholders.

What you'll need

  • 6+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, or sales, ideally within thetech, e-commerce, or food delivery sectors.
  • 2+ years of team leadership experience with a strong track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Based in Dubai with occasional travel across the UAE as needed.

Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, or sales
  • •Experience in tech, e-commerce, or food delivery sectors preferred
  • •2+ years of team leadership experience
  • •Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights
  • •Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • •Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders
  • •Fluency in English
  • •Based in Dubai with ability to travel across the UAE

  • •Arabic language proficiency
