Job Summary
The Senior Network Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with the IT team to ensure the network meets organizational needs while remaining secure and reliable. Responsibilities also include providing technical support and troubleshooting for network issues.
Your Responsibilities
• Design and implement network solutions based on business requirements
• Configure and maintain network equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Monitor and optimize network performance
• Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as software upgrades and patch management
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure
• Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and trends
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network administration or a related role
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs Your Proficiencies
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience with network security technologies
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
