Job Description
Specialty Waiter/ Waitress
This role requires extensive menu knowledge, expertise in food and beverage pairings, and the ability to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
What you will be doing:
- Provide specialized, high-quality service.
- Greet, seat, and engage with guests to create a personalized and memorable dining experience.
- Offer expert knowledge on menu items, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and presentation.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure food presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive yet discreet service.
- Handle VIP and high-profile guests with professionalism and discretion.
- Master themed service techniques.
- Communicate effectively with chefs, bartenders, and other service team to ensure seamless operations.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with a problem-solving approach.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Specialty Waiter/ Waitress or in Luxury Hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of the restaurant’s cuisine, ingredients, and dining customs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to perform specialty service techniques.
- Well-groomed, professional presentation with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure.
- Multilingual skills (Russian language will be an advantage).
