We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Specialist Plastic Surgeon to join our medical team in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and ethical medical practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong surgical expertise, excellent patient communication skills, and experience managing patients throughout the consultation, treatment, surgical, and post-operative phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, clinical assessments, and pre-operative evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, medical history, clinical findings, and treatment objectives.
• Perform plastic, reconstructive, and/or aesthetic surgical procedures within the physician's licensed scope and credentialed privileges.
• Evaluate patients for elective and reconstructive surgical procedures and determine appropriate surgical approaches.
• Perform pre-operative counseling, obtain informed consent, and explain expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and potential complications.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patients for complications and recovery.
• Manage surgical wounds, scars, infections, and other post-operative issues.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, dermatologists, general surgeons, ENT specialists, maxillofacial surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including consultation notes, operative reports, and follow-up documentation.
• Provide appropriate patient education regarding recovery, wound care, lifestyle considerations, and realistic treatment outcomes.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, departmental meetings, and continuing medical education.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital policies, infection-control requirements, and patient-safety standards.
• Maintain professional standards and ethical conduct in all patient interactions.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic Surgery or equivalent specialty qualification.
• Relevant specialist clinical and surgical experience.
• Valid DHA Specialist license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain a professional license in Dubai.
• Meets the applicable UAE Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR) for the Specialist title.
• Current professional registration and Good Standing documentation, where applicable.
• Appropriate surgical credentials and privileges for the procedures to be performed.
