Specialist/Consultant - Pathology - South African Board (Relocate to UAE)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist/Consultant Pathologist with a South African Board qualification to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnostic pathology services and providing accurate, timely reports to support clinical decision-making and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of pathological examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Analyze tissue, cytology, blood, and other clinical specimens as appropriate to the specialty.
• Provide accurate and timely pathology reports to referring physicians.
• Correlate laboratory findings with clinical information and other diagnostic investigations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and discuss complex cases with treating physicians.
• Ensure appropriate quality control and compliance with laboratory standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical and laboratory records.
• Support clinical governance, patient safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Stay updated with current developments and best practices in pathology.

• Recognized medical degree with a specialist qualification in Pathology.
• South African Board qualification in Pathology.
• Relevant specialist/consultant-level clinical experience.
• UAE medical licence or eligibility to obtain the relevant UAE authority licence.
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
