We are seeking a talented Software Development Specialist to join a leading Ministry in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise applications while working with modern technologies such as .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, APIs, and databases. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives within a dynamic government environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong experience designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, or equivalent development platforms.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs or web services, with strong experience in system integration.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Frontend development experience using JavaScript and modern frameworks.
- Experience working across the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, code reviews, quality assurance, and system enhancements.
- Experience following coding standards and secure development practices.
- Experience with software testing and technical documentation.
- Experience collaborating with internal technical teams, business users, project managers, and external vendors throughout the software development life cycle.
- Excellent technical communication and documentation skills, including the ability to communicate solutions clearly to senior stakeholders when required.
- Experience working with UAE government entities or large enterprise organisations is an advantage.
