Carrier is seeking a Sales Engineer – Oil & Gas to support the growth of our HVAC solutions across Oil & Gas projects in the UAE. This role focuses on developing project opportunities, engaging EPC contractors and consultants, supporting tendering activities, and driving order conversion while positioning Carrier as a preferred supplier for mission-critical HVAC applications.

About the Role

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing key relationships within the Oil & Gas sector. The role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, combined with commercial acumen to support tender submissions, solution development, and contract negotiations.

You will collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, product specialists, and project execution teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Engineer – Oil & Gas, you will:

• Achieve assigned annual sales targets, bookings, and gross margin objectives.

• Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline for Oil & Gas projects in the UAE.

• Build strong relationships with Oil & Gas end users, EPC contractors, consultants, and key industrial accounts.

• Support vendor registrations and Approved Vendor List (AVL) inclusion with major Oil & Gas clients.

• Promote Carrier HVAC solutions including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), packaged units, and engineered systems.

• Coordinate with internal engineering and product teams to develop compliant technical solutions.

• Lead and support tender reviews, pricing strategies, and commercial submissions.

• Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and contractual requirements.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.

• Maintain accurate CRM updates, opportunity tracking, and sales forecasts.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in HVAC or cooling solutions.

• Experience supporting Oil & Gas or heavy industrial projects in the UAE or GCC.

• Familiarity with EPC-driven project environments and tender-based sales processes.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling applied HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, and packaged systems.

• Knowledge of Oil & Gas client standards and specifications.

• Experience with customized or engineered-to-order HVAC solutions.

• Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based sales approaches.
