Senior Mechanical Engineer

Rawafid is in search of a talented Mechanical Engineer to be a part of our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will apply your mechanical engineering expertise to design, develop, and implement mechanical systems and components for diverse industrial and construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure optimum system performance while meeting technical specifications and project timelines. Your responsibilities will include evaluating project requirements, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities

• Review of Technical Documents: Reviewing shop drawings, technical specifications, and required project documentation.
• Supervision of Execution: Monitoring and guiding site workers to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Resource Management: Identifying and providing the materials and tools required for the project and ensuring their efficient use.
• Coordination with Other Teams: Collaborating with engineers from all disciplines to ensure integration and coordination of engineering works.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality of workmanship and materials used in accordance with standards and technical specifications.
• Problem Solving: Addressing technical and site issues that may arise during execution quickly and effectively.
• Change Management: Implementing necessary modifications to designs based on site conditions and project requirements.
• Periodic Inspection: Conducting regular site visits to inspect work progress and ensure compliance with the project schedule, quality standards, and general and specific project specifications, and preparing periodic reports for management.
• Safety Compliance: Implementing occupational health and safety procedures on site to ensure the safety of all workers.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Adopting the latest technologies and sustainable design practices that contribute to reducing environmental impact.Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in industrial or construction projects.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Certification.
• Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy in designs.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration within project teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
