AVEVA E3D Piping Specification Engineer / CAD Operator - (Short Term)

Eram Talent is seeking a skilled AVEVA E3D Piping Specification Engineer / CAD Operator for a short-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing piping specifications and producing detailed CAD drawings using AVEVA E3D software. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge in piping engineering and proficiency in AVEVA E3D software to support engineering and design teams in delivering high-quality project outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain piping specifications in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and drawings using AVEVA E3D software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate representation of piping systems.
• Review and update piping documents and drawings as necessary during project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assist in quality assurance and control activities related to piping design deliverables.
• Populate catalogue entries for components including pipes, fittings, valves, supports, specialty items (SPL/SP), bolts, gaskets, and instrumentation items, with correct dimensions, physical properties, and metadata (material grades, weights, pressure ratings).
• Ensure correct geometry, P-point (connection point) definitions, and connectivity intelligence (Arrive/Leave attributes) to support logical branch connectivity in E3D.
• Perform placement checking / routing tests in E3D Design module to verify component picking and branch connection behavior.
• Run standard diagnostic checks and data consistency reports to identify and resolve errors in fed specifications.
• Support 3D model review milestones (e.g., 30%, 60%, 90%) by addressing specificationrelated comments and corrections as instructed by the CONTRACTOR. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Drafting, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience working as a Piping Specification Engineer and CAD Operator using AVEVA E3D software.
• Strong knowledge of piping design principles, standards, and specifications.
• Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to work on short-term contract basis.
