Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of commercial strategies for contracts related to major projects within Qiddiya.
• Oversee the pre-contract and post-contract management processes, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's commercial objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and manage variations, providing guidance on risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate successful collaboration.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and KPIs.
• Manage dispute resolution and claims, employing effective negotiation strategies to resolve issues efficiently.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in commercial management within the construction or engineering sectors.
• Professional accreditation such as MRICS or FRICS is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects with a focus on commercial contract negotiation and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
