The QMS Auditor is responsible for executing the AMP-2 Internal Audit Program and conducting process, system, and compliance audits across all business functions. The role evaluates adherence to QMS requirements, identifies process risks and nonconformities, verifies corrective action effectiveness, and provides objective audit results to support continual improvement, and compliance with ISO 9001, automotive requirements, and Lucid standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the AMP-2 Internal Audit Program covering all Quality Management System processes and support functions.

• Conduct, and report process audits, system audits, compliance audits, and follow-up audits.

• Assess the effectiveness, compliance, performance, and maturity of business processes against ISO 9001 requirements, Lucid standards, documented procedures, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.

• Evaluate process interactions, process ownership, and implementation of the Process Approach throughout the organization.

• Identify process gaps, nonconformities, risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement, and communicate audit results to process owners and leadership.

• Evaluate the impact of audit findings on product quality, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, operational performance, and business objectives.

• Verify the adequacy of root cause analysis, corrective actions, containment actions, and effectiveness reviews to ensure sustainable resolution of identified issues.

• Monitor audit findings and action plans, track closure status, and escalate overdue, ineffective, or high-risk actions to appropriate management levels.

• Conduct risk-based audits by evaluating process risks, opportunities, controls, mitigation measures, and compliance obligation.

• Perform gap assessments against ISO 9001, applicable automotive requirements, Lucid standards, and internal policies to support continual compliance and certification readiness.

• Support external certification audits, surveillance audits, customer audits, Conformity of Production (CoP) audits, and regulatory compliance assessments.

• Review Quality Management System documentation including SOPs, Work Instructions, Forms, and Records to ensure compliance and traceability.

• Analyze process performance data, KPIs, audit trends, and recurring findings to identify systemic risks and drive continual improvement initiatives.

• Develop audit reports, dashboards, scorecards, and compliance metrics that provide clear visibility of audit performance, process risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Support Management Review activities through analysis of audit performance, process effectiveness, compliance status, risks, and improvement actions..

• Support Management Review activities through audit performance reporting and compliance analysis.

• Maintain audit records and evidence in accordance with QMS requirements

• Support the development of audit methodologies, audit tools, auditor training, and continuous improvement of the AMP-2 audit program.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Creative, energetic, self-motivated, and highly organized.

• Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environment and scalable organization.

• Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational

• Project management capabilities are a plus.

• Presentation and communication skills are a must.

• Ability to coach and train at different levels of the manufacturing organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Implementing Quality systems in a greenfield plant is a plus.

• ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 internal Auditor qualification is a must.

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing organizations is a must.

• Experience with implementing, facilitating, or participating in the ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949.

• ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 internal auditor qualification is a must.

• Experience conducting process, system, and compliance audits

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 implementation and certification requirements.

• Knowledge of process mapping, SIPOC methodology, process performance management, and risk assessment techniques.

• Knowledge of Conformity of Production (CoP) requirements is a plus.

• Knowledge of dashboard development, data analysis, and performance reporting, with the ability to develop and maintain KPIs, metrics, and management reports is a plus.

Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
