We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist – Specialist / Consultant to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health and psychiatric conditions.
Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board qualifications are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric and mental health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs.
- Provide appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment.
- Monitor treatment response and adjust management plans when required.
- Manage patients with conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and other psychiatric conditions.
- Assess and manage patients presenting with acute psychiatric symptoms when required.
- Provide counseling, psychoeducation, and guidance to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.
- Promote patient safety, confidentiality, and high standards of ethical clinical practice.
- MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry.
- Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a Specialist / Consultant Psychiatrist.
- Strong experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Experience managing a broad range of adult psychiatric conditions.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary mental healthcare team.

Requirements
- •MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
