Production Supervisor - Fabrication (Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Supervisor with strong experience in the fabrication of Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers. The candidate will be responsible for supervising shop floor activities, ensuring production targets, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with planning and QA/QC departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication activities for pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Ensure production as per approved drawings, WPS, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with Planning Engineer to meet project timelines.
• Monitor fit-up, welding, rolling, assembly, and hydrotest activities.
• Ensure compliance with ASME standards and client requirements.
• Allocate manpower and monitor productivity.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Report daily production progress to Production Manager.
• Minimize rework and material wastage.Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as Production Supervisor in fabrication industry.
• Mandatory experience in:
• Pressure Vessels fabrication
• Heat Exchanger fabrication
• Welding & Fit-up supervision
•
• Good understanding of fabrication drawings and isometrics.
• Knowledge of ASME codes (Section VIII preferred).
• Experience in handling fabrication workforce.
