About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Plumbing Technician to join the Engineering team at Jumeirah The Red Sea.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, pumps, water heaters, and sanitation fixtures

• Inspect and repair leaks, clogs, and malfunctions in guest rooms, public areas, and service areas

• Maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.

• Comply with JEMS and all Fire, Life, Health, and Safety Standards.

• Install, replace, and maintain plumbing fixtures such as faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, and valves.

• Maintain and service water filtration, softening, and treatment systems.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Hold a Diploma or Certificate in Plumbing / Mechanical Maintenance or related technical field.

• Demonstrate good oral and written communication is an advantage.

• Have at least a grade 10 level in education with a good moral background in his educational attainment.

• Possess software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate).

• Have 1+ years of experience in the technical department.
