About the Role
We are looking for an experienced OT Cybersecurity Specialist to support and deliver cybersecurity assessments across industrial and operational technology environments. You will evaluate OT security maturity, controls, risks, and compliance against established industry frameworks while working closely with plant operations, engineering, and cybersecurity teams.
The role involves significant onsite work at operational facilities, including interviews, workshops, site inspections, and technical assessments. Candidates should be comfortable spending extended periods onsite in Riyadh.
- CAPACITY: 1× FTE — 40 hours per week
- SENIORITY: 5+ years — Consultant / Manager level
- LANGUAGE: Fluent English
- LOCATION: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — onsite at client site
- DURATION: Ongoing — no specified end dateKey Responsibilities
- Conduct OT cybersecurity assessments across industrial and operational environments.
- Evaluate OT security maturity, controls, vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance.
- Perform gap analyses against applicable cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
- Assess SCADA, DCS, PLCs, industrial networks, and related OT infrastructure.
- Conduct onsite interviews, workshops, facility inspections, and technical assessments.
- Work with plant operations, engineering, IT, and cybersecurity stakeholders to understand risks and existing controls.
- Identify security gaps and develop practical recommendations for risk reduction and remediation.
- Document assessment findings, risks, observations, and recommendations in clear professional reports.
- Facilitate client workshops and present technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the development of OT cybersecurity roadmaps and improvement plans where required.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, OT security, industrial cybersecurity, or industrial control systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and industrial networks.
- Experience conducting OT security assessments, gap analyses, and risk assessments.
- Working knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001, or equivalent frameworks.
- Willingness and availability to work onsite for extended periods at operational facilities.
- Experience engaging plant operations, engineering, IT, and cybersecurity stakeholders.
- Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
- Strong workshop facilitation and client-facing communication skills.
- Fluent English.
