We are seeking an experienced Nephrologist – Specialist / Consultant to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of patients with kidney and renal-related conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary medical team.
Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board qualifications are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic kidney and renal conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practices.
- Manage conditions including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, glomerular disorders, electrolyte abnormalities, hypertension, and other renal diseases.
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced kidney disease and coordinate appropriate renal replacement therapy when required.
- Manage and monitor patients receiving hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
- Assess patients for renal transplantation and coordinate care with relevant transplant teams when appropriate.
- Monitor renal function, treatment response, and disease progression.
- Collaborate with urologists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, intensivists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient and family education regarding kidney disease, treatment options, lifestyle, and long-term management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comprehensive clinical documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and professional development activities.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and evidence-based clinical practice.
- MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Nephrology.
- Relevant post-specialization clinical experience as a Specialist / Consultant Nephrologist.
- Strong clinical experience in diagnosing and managing acute and chronic renal conditions.
- Experience in dialysis management and advanced kidney disease is preferred.
- Experience with renal replacement therapy and transplant-related patient care is an advantage.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements
- •MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
