Objective:
This position is responsible for leading leasing operations across designated regions or brands by securing optimal retail spaces, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring alignment with the company’s expansion strategy. The role involves managing a team of leasing professionals, driving portfolio performance, and maintaining strategic relationships with landlords and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibility:
Lease Strategy & Execution
• Lead end-to-end lease negotiations for new store openings, renewals, relocations, and rent reviews in alignment with commercial goals.
• Approve and finalize Letters of Intent (LOIs), lease proposals, and commercial terms.
• Drive compliance with internal leasing policies and ensure alignment with brand and legal frameworks.Market Intelligence & Site Evaluation
• Oversee market research efforts, including catchment analysis, competitor benchmarking, and new market identification.
• Evaluate site feasibility and trade area potential with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor regional leasing trends and rental benchmarks to guide decision-making.Documentation & Lease Lifecycle Management
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of lease records, trackers, and documentation systems.
• Oversee lease pipeline status, renewal timelines, and approval workflows.
• Coordinate closely with Lease Administration and Legal to ensure timely contract execution.Landlord & Stakeholder Relationship Management
• Cultivate strong relationships with landlords, property developers, brokers, and mall management.
• Resolve escalated lease disputes, delays, or handover issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all leasing-related strategic discussions.Reporting & Commercial Analysis
• Prepare and review reports on portfolio performance, occupancy costs, and rent optimization.
• Analyze lease deal terms to support strategic leasing decisions and cost savings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and expansion plan presentations.Desired Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in retail leasing, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in negotiating high-value leases across GCC markets.
• Strong commercial acumen, market awareness, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, lease tracking tools, and ERP systems.
