The Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Manager - CCU Crisis Readiness to be responsible for ensuring that Qiddiya's City Command Unit is fully prepared to respond to large-scale crises, major incidents, and emergency scenarios. This role focuses on planning, preparedness, and exercising to build organizational resilience and ensure seamless crisis activation across the city's 12-asset operational model.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve crisis management plans, emergency response frameworks, and business continuity procedures for city-wide operations.
• Design, plan, and facilitate crisis simulation exercises, tabletop scenarios, and full-scale drills involving internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify gaps in crisis preparedness across city assets.
• Coordinate with government agencies, emergency services, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with national and local crisis management requirements.
• Establish and maintain crisis communication protocols, ensuring clear and timely information flow during major events.
• Lead after-action reviews following exercises and real events, producing recommendations for corrective action and capability improvement.
• Support the integration of crisis readiness standards into the operational readiness framework across all Qiddiya assets.Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in crisis management, emergency planning, or business continuity within large-scale venues, cities, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in crisis management, emergency planning, or business continuity within large-scale venues, cities, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Proven track record of designing and executing crisis exercises and drills at an organizational or multi-agency level.
• Deep understanding of crisis management frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, ICS, NIMS) and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and external agencies.
• Relevant certifications in crisis management, emergency planning, or business continuity are highly preferred.Benefits
