Lead, AI Creative Designer

Job Purpose:
Lead the adoption and continuous improvement of Engage Studio's GenAI Creative capability within Marketing by combining hands-on creative design expertise with creative delivery, quality assurance, and user enablement. The role connects Marketing requirements with the Engage Studio roadmap, translates creative needs into prioritized product inputs, validates creative quality, and enables scalable, brand-compliant campaign production for Personal Banking.

Key Accountabilities:

• Operate in line with FAB policies, governance requirements, risk controls, and applicable regulatory obligations
• Maintain high standards of quality, confidentiality, information security, and responsible use of GenAI capabilities.
• Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Brand, AI Hub, technology, agencies, and relevant control functions.
• Support continuous improvement by documenting feedback, sharing knowledge, and contributing to consistent delivery practices.
Design & Creative Production

• Create and assess campaign assets, digital layouts, channel creative, banners, templates, and visual variants using strong hands-on graphic design expertise.
• Develop and adapt Marketing campaign visuals across key channels and formats.
• Use Engage Studio's GenAI Creative capability to generate, refine, and assess creative concepts and layout options.
• Ensure outputs meet FAB brand guidelines, campaign requirements, accessibility standards, quality expectations, and approval criteria.
Product, Roadmap & GenAI Creative Support

• Share practical Marketing and creative feedback to improve Engage Studio's usability, design controls, templates, brand governance, and creative workflow.
• Translate Marketing, Brand, and agency needs into clear product feedback, test scenarios, and prioritization inputs.
• Recommend practical improvements that reduce manual Marketing effort, including prompt libraries, brand-approved templates, channel variants, automatic resizing, and reuse of approved assets.
• Assess emerging GenAI capabilities, determine their relevance for FAB Marketing, and recommend controlled adoption where appropriate.
Campaign Delivery & Quality Assurance

• Develop creative assets for pilots and live campaigns across relevant Marketing channels.
• Review assets before business sign-off to confirm visual quality, layout, formatting, image use, accessibility, brand consistency, and campaign requirements.
• Guide Marketing users on using Engage Studio for asset adaptation and campaign creative production.
Enablement & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Provide practical guidance, demonstrations, and reusable materials that help Marketing teams adopt Engage Studio effectively.
• Work with Marketing, Brand, agencies, product owners, and AI Hub stakeholders to resolve creative delivery issues and improve adoption.
• Capture user feedback, recurring pain points, and delivery learnings to support backlog prioritization and continuous improvement.
• Works within FAB brand guidelines, campaign approval requirements, accessibility standards, AI governance, information security requirements, and relevant Marketing controls.
• Exercises creative judgment when developing and assessing assets, while escalating material brand, legal, compliance, data, or reputational concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Recommends product backlog priorities and controlled adoption opportunities; final roadmap, campaign, and governance approvals remain with the designated accountable owners.
• May reject or return creative outputs that do not meet agreed quality, brand, accessibility, or campaign acceptance criteria.
Qualifications & Experience:

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Relevant professional certifications in design, digital marketing, accessibility, UX/UI, or GenAI-enabled creative tools are advantageous.
Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience in graphic design and multi-channel campaign asset production within a brand-led environment.
• Experience translating business and creative requirements into templates, workflows, test scenarios, or product improvement inputs.
• Practical experience using GenAI-enabled creative tools to generate, refine, and review visual concepts and layout options.
• Experience applying brand standards, accessibility requirements, quality assurance, and approval controls to creative outputs.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Marketing, Brand, agencies, product teams, technology teams, and governance stakeholders.
• Banking, financial services, or another regulated industry experience is advantageous.
Knowledge & Skills:

• Advanced graphic design, visual composition, typography, layout, image selection, and adaptation across formats and channels.
• Working knowledge of prompt design, template creation, creative automation, asset reuse, and GenAI output evaluation.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to balance creative quality, speed, scalability, brand compliance, accessibility, and responsible AI considerations.
