Landscape Projects & Maintenance Manager

Summary:

The Projects & Maintenance Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and maintenance of landscaping projects across the UAE. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in landscape management, and extensive knowledge of UAE regulations and approvals, including RTA, Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Dubai South, and other relevant authorities.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute landscaping projects from concept, estimation, proposal creation, site management all the way to completion.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Lead project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Communicate effectively with the clients, attend all progress meetings and ensure proper communication channels are established2. Maintenance Management:

• Oversee landscape maintenance operations for residential, commercial, and public spaces.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and schedules to ensure plant health and landscape aesthetics.
• Monitor maintenance teams and ensure timely execution of tasks.3. Regulatory Compliance:

• Obtain and manage approvals and permits from RTA, Dubai
• Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Dubai South, and other relevant authorities.
• Ensure projects comply with UAE codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.4. Technical Management:

o Oversee all technical aspects of landscaping projects, including:

• Swimming pools – design, construction, and maintenance.
• Plantations and horticulture – softscape, planting, and care.
• Irrigation systems – design, installation, and operation.
• Civil and MEP works – site preparation, grading, drainage, and infrastructure coordination.
• Hardscape works – paving, retaining walls, pergolas, and outdoor structures.
• Ensure technical quality, accuracy, and compliance with design and safety standards.5. Leadership & Team Development:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate project and maintenance teams.
• Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.6. Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• Address client concerns and provide timely updates on project progress.
• Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality.7. Reporting & Communication:

• Prepare and present clear, accurate, and timely reports on project progress, budgets, and maintenance activities to line manager.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, and authorities.Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in landscaping projects and maintenance in the UAE.
• Proven experience managing approvals with RTA, Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Dubai South, and other relevant authorities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent technical knowledge of landscaping, swimming pools, irrigation, civil, MEP, hardscape and softscape works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Primavera, or equivalent project management tools.
• Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project scheduling and budgeting.
• Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• PMP certification is a plus.
