The Production Team is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician / Automation Technician in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and automation equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation of production processes.
Scope for PITs (x16 units):
• Installation of cable trays and selected conduit, including supports and routing as per layout
• Installation and mounting of junction boxes in designated locations
• Glanding and termination of cables at junction boxes
• Wiring of all junction boxes (including E-stop and disconnect systems)
• Wiring and connection of all motors, encoders, and sensors
• Cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and securing in accordance with standards
• Basic testing for continuity and proper connections
• Coordination with mechanical team during installation where required Scope for Control Room:
• Installation and positioning of MCC in its final location
• Alignment, fixing, and securing of MCC panels
• Preparation and routing of incoming field wiring for termination
• Glanding and dressing of cables entering MCC panels
• Termination support for field cables (as required)
• Labeling of cables and ensuring proper identification
• Assistance in pre-commissioning checks (visual inspection, continuity checks) Requirements
• Compliance with site safety regulations and PPE requirements
• Use of proper tools and equipment for installation and wiring
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Daily coordination with site supervisor/engineer
• Report any installation issues or discrepancies on-site
