Heavy Driver

To safely and efficiently operate heavy vehicles for the transportation of vehicles, equipment, materials, and other company-related assets while ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with Bahrain traffic laws and company procedures.
• Transport vehicles, equipment, and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Secure cargo and ensure safe loading and unloading activities.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining delivery timelines.
• Complete trip sheets, fuel records, and other required documentation accurately.
• Report accidents, incidents, traffic violations, or vehicle breakdowns immediately.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements at all times.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance checks and coordinate with the workshop for repairs.
• Maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers, site personnel, and company representatives.

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles, trucks, or transport vehicles.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
• Ability to read and understand basic English instructions and road signs.
• Physically fit and capable of working long hours when required.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
