Gastroenterologist | Specialist / Consultant | UAE Healthcare Job Vacany

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive system disorders, including advanced endoscopic procedures where applicable.

Candidates with UK CCT, Western Qualified, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board qualifications are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Manage conditions including GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBD, IBS, gastrointestinal bleeding, and liver disorders.
• Perform procedures such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy; advanced endoscopy experience is preferred.
• Evaluate and manage patients with complex gastrointestinal and liver conditions.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and follow-up.
• Work closely with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow patient safety and quality standards.

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification.
• Postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology or equivalent.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong experience in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal disorders.
• Proficiency in gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Experience in advanced endoscopic procedures is an advantage.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
