- Maintenance fault diagnosis and repair, including systematic strip down and re-building of mechanical equipment’s and components relating to, but not limited to, cranes, winches, pumps, compressors, valves, machine tools and other similar plants.

- Maintenance and repairing of syncrolift and rexroth shiplifts, Lower sheave & Upper Sheave, Gear box overhauling, Wire rope replacement.
- Installation of Mechanical plants and equipment’s.
- Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
- Perform duties of a Foreman as required / appointed for individual projects.
- Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.
- Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets.
- Attend any training for any activity required by the department.

Requirements
- •Experience in maintenance fault diagnosis and repair
- •Ability to perform systematic strip down and re-building of mechanical equipment
- •Knowledge of cranes, winches, pumps, compressors, and valves
- •Experience with syncrolift and rexroth shiplifts
- •Experience in Gear box overhauling and Wire rope replacement
- •Ability to perform installation of mechanical plants and equipment
- •Ability to work within allocated timescales to meet department targets
- •Good housekeeping standards
